Show Me Lines was selected by the Missouri
Department of Tourism
to produce the Official 1998 Missouri Collectible model railroad car.
The car is a white Athearn 40' box car, decorated with the distinctive
"Missouri... where the rivers run" slogan and the Show Me Lines
logo.

A limited quantity of a second number, SML 1534, was also produced.
To compliment the Official collectible car,
a highly unofficial, even
tongue-in-cheek, car was produced. The Missouri Mule decorates
one side of the car, while a somewhat disreputable hillbilly carrying
a jug of white lightnin' takes a stroll through the Ozarks with his hounds.
The car is a silver Athearn 40' box car.

And as if that weren't enough, we added our
own Missouri Mule caboose, just for kicks,
and a pair of 40' trailers. The trailers are marked for Show Me Transportation,
based (where else) in Grandview, MO.
