From our Book collection we chose two books that feature Kansas City. In his book, Home Town Beer, Jim Maxwell tells us about how the politics of the day were determining factors in plant location for some breweries. Boss Pendergast told the brewers if they wanted to sell beer in Kansas City, they'd better plan to build here. Goetz and Falstaff both wanted to sell beer in Kansas City so we have included those cars in this feature.
